Terry Randazzo – A Life Well Lived, September 2022

There really isn’t much to say about this that I didn’t cover in Terry’s eulogy. It was a shame and too soon. But I think she would have been very happy that her old friend from the block, Schmoo the Chihuahua, came all the way from Virginia with his mama Johanna to attend her memorial.

I’ll Be Home For Christmas, December 2016

When I first decided to finally try to make this video, I was lucky enough to find a really easy version of the song for piano that I learned to play pretty quickly. I haven’t sung and/or recorded in 15+ years, and generally whenever I did, I put all kinds of filters on, and multi-tracked, my voice. This time the vocals are just one track and no effects, and this is a surprisingly hard song to sing. (I never wrote songs that weren’t easy for me to sing.)

Snow Dogs! 2010

This was the first big snow we had after we had gotten Snoopy and Noodles. As with most things, Noodles was very “whatever,” since he was so easy going. He looked around a little, and then wanted to go back inside. But Snoopy loved, loved, loved the snow and stayed out for as long as he could.

We’ve had a lot of dogs since the early 1990s, and they’ve all been special in their own ways. But Molly was the first and was such an incredibly good girl. Someone had obviously told her to wait in this old parking lot in Fort Greene, and she sat down and stayed there all day — they never came back.

We went to feed her and check on her later, and brought her home that night
